You’re constantly stressed about something—work, health, family, finances, time—and you’re exhausted.

Your anxiety can sometimes feel like a double-edged sword. On one hand, it drives you to achieve and maintain high standards. On the other, a crippling fear of disappointing others or failing leaves you frazzled more often than not. Now, it’s starting to affect your closest relationships. You feel disengaged, fight more often with people you care about, and set unrealistic expectations for yourself and others—which only adds to your stress in the end.

And slowing down or reevaluating seems impossible, because your mind races with worst-case scenarios, convincing you that if you do pause, everything will fall apart.

My approach

Together, we’ll reflect, gain new insights, & break the patterns you’re feeling stuck in.

When we begin working together, my first priority is to make sure you feel comfortable to speak freely. We'll spend some time getting to know each other, and I'll create a safe space in our sessions where you can openly share your experiences and challenges. Building this foundation is an essential part of the process, as it sets the stage for everything we’ll do together.

Once we're on the same page, we'll set goals that are meaningful to you. This is a collaborative effort to ensure they reflect your personal values and align with your vision for your life. Your active participation in setting these goals will help you feel invested in the work we do and empower you to get the most out of it.

You’ll walk away with tangible skills to help you manage anxious thoughts.

As we delve deeper, we'll explore how anxiety affects various aspects of your life. I’ll sometimes assign homework, and ask you to complete exercises like thought logs to help us gain insights into your thinking patterns. Using these insights, we'll practice skills to help manage your anxiety together. This might mean roleplaying a difficult conversation to practice setting boundaries, or trying out the tools you’ll learn in-session.

We'll also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to challenge worries and replace them with a more down-to-earth perspective. Regular check-ins will help us monitor your progress, and we'll celebrate your successes (big or small) together. When you've reached the initial goals we set, we’ll decide if there's more to work on and, if so, set new ones to journey toward.
